1. Project Manager

Department: Professional Services

We are seeking high-energy, team-oriented professionals experienced in managing electronic discovery (EDD) projects to join a rapidly-growing California company. Project manager positions currently available in our Boston office.

You will be responsible for overall planning and management of litigation discovery projects, including civil/criminal litigations and government investigations (involving the SEC, DOJ, NASD, Hart-Scott Rodino 2nd Requests, and state attorneys general), in which challenging EDD tasks are the norm. These projects involve processing, organization/review and production of such large document collections that the application of cutting-edge technologies becomes a necessity. Prior experience with law departments and electronic discovery projects will be highly valued.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Project management, day-to-day discussions with customers, and support for the Stratify sales team to develop a Statement of Work (SOW) for each project.
  • Conducting planning meetings with clients to explore and craft case plans and document review strategies that best leverage Stratify’s software tools.
  • Understanding various technologies and processes used in EDD and ability to work with partner companies that can provide complementary services for overall success of the project.
  • Acquiring detailed knowledge of the Stratify Legal Discovery software to be able to manage or direct: document processing & creation of databases, advanced methods of search, workflow management during review, reporting tools, and production of documents.
  • Tracking delivery schedules, ensuring proper quality assurance, and managing changes in work scope.
  • Web-based and on-site training for law firm and corporate customers.
  • Prompt and proactive communication to ensure customer satisfaction. Willingness to work on a flexible work schedule to support customers in different time zones in the US.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree (a combination of paralegal and technical background is ideal).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, responsiveness, and attention to detail.
  • Good understanding of the Microsoft Office software, common email systems, and basic networking concepts.
  • Familiarity with one or more software packages such as Summation, Concordance, MDN, or other web-based review tools is a plus.
  • 1 - 2 year experience with electronic discovery firms or litigation support groups at law firms.

2. Office Administrator

Responsibilities
  • Manage all facets of administrative operations for Boston office, including:
    • maintain office equipment and supplies
    • manage/coordinate with office equipment and supplies vendors
    • receive/route mail and deliveries
    • route phone calls and greet clients and visitors (when needed)
  • Work with Human Resources on vacation schedules, recruiting, and new hires
  • Coordinate payment of monthly office expenses (e.g., utilities, vendors, monthly subscriptions, etc.)
  • Clerical assistance for VP, Client Development and Strategy and (when needed) other management staff, including:
    • calendar management
    • facilitating expense reports for travel
    • editing of PowerPoint presentations and/or articles
  • Travel support (e.g., hotel, air, car rental bookings, etc.) for VP, Client Development & Strategy, visiting employees, and job candidates
  • Occasional local hand deliveries (e.g., to law firms, channel partners, etc.)
  • Weekly court docket monitoring/on-line research re potential sales leads
  • Coordinate/plan monthly networking events as well as occasional office outings.
Professional Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 + years office administrative support, preferably at a law firm/electronic discovery vendor
  • Strong word processing/computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity and/or ability to work with on-line programs
  • High energy/team player
  • Solid people, telephone, and communications skills
  • Independent; self-starter
