Smart Issue folders, enable attorneys to organize the evolving document universe using their own criteria, such as specific custodians or keywords, often including date-ranges and other metadata fields.
Smart Issue Folders can also be created using terms and phrases in the full text body of the document, as well as specific metadata values
Attorneys and case managers can construct Smart Issue folders prior to the start of a matter or at any time during the review. When constructed in the course of a matter they can be applied post-facto to all previously processed documents, as well as to all subsequent documents that are added to the document universe.
Documents that are sorted into Smart Issue Folders are bucketed into pertinent concept folders. These concept folders are the same folders that appear in the overall Concept Hierarchy. However, only those folders that contain documents meeting the query criteria are present. This provides additional advantages to attorneys, as they can easily drill down into the set of documents without needing to do any additional searching.
